# Create a Channel

To listen to music together on BGMS, you first need to create a channel.

## What is a Channel?

A channel is a shared space where multiple people can listen to music together. You can create separate channels for your office, friend groups, parties, etc.

> **Channel Limit**
> You can create up to **3 channels** per account.

## How to Create a Channel

You can create a channel in two ways:

### 1. From the Player (bgms.live)

Create a channel from the main player connected to speakers.

1. Go to `https://bgms.live`
2. Click the create channel button
3. Enter channel information

### 2. From the Remote (remote.bgms.live)

You can also create a channel from the remote control.

1. Go to `https://remote.bgms.live`
2. Click the create channel button
3. Enter channel information

> [!NOTE]

> **Player vs Remote**
>
> * **Player (bgms.live)**: Where music is played through speakers
> * **Remote (remote.bgms.live)**: Where you add and control music from your seat

## Next Steps

Now that you've created a channel, invite your friends!
